請教一題消費者均衡的問題 - 經濟

題目這樣說道:
if good is offered to you free, then you
A. never stop consuming it
B. stop consuming it when its marginal utility begins to fall
C. stop consuming it when its marginal utility begins to increase
D. stop consuming it when its marginal utility equals 0
E. stop consuming it when its total utility equal 0

當時看到這題想到在序數效用分析中有提到理性消費者滿足六個公理
其中有一是單調性(monotonicity)
之後翻課本發現計數效用分析中有假設MU>0
基於以上
所以小弟不才的深信這題肯定是A
當然事與願違
請問我思考的方向是錯在哪呢!?!?
