申請經博需要的數學背景 - 經濟

看過板上的錄取文

其中一篇提到他修過微積分,經數,Probability Theory,Introduction to Analysis I

還說這樣的背景其實不夠

我有查過一些學校的要求

雖然多提到要有數學背景但是也沒很詳細的說明要修哪些課

我看過UCLA的網站提到Mathematical preparation is also essential. This should
include a minimum of one year of probability and statistics, and two years of
calculus. Additional coursework in mathematics and statistics, especially
linear algebra, matrix algebra, advanced probability theory, mathematical
statistics and real analysis, is highly recommended.

感覺除了linear algebra跟stats剩下好像他都修過了

在我的學校拿完這些課大概有一個math minor

所以難道要double major math跟econ才夠用嗎?

我有打算double major 但是如果Math minor夠用的話 實在不想再花一年念大學

所以想請教一下板友 想申請好的phd program 到底要拿多少數學課才有競爭力
