令Ux/Px=Uy/Py=t
X^(-0.5)/Px=2Y^(-0.5)/Py=t
X=1/(tPx)^2 Y=4/(tPy)^2
: (1)Find the demand functions for goods 1 and 2 as they depend on prices
: (Px,Py)and wealth(M)
限制C=M,則把X,Y代入C=PxX+PyY=1/(t^2 Px)+4/(t^2 Py)=M
1/t^2=MPxPy/(4Px+Py) 代回X,Y
X=(1/t^2)/Px^2=MPy/(Px(4Px+Py))
Y=(1/t^2)4/(Py^2)=4MPx/(Py(4Px+Py))
: (2)Find the compensated demand function
限制U,則把X,Y代入U=2X^0.5+4Y^0.5=2/(tPx)+8/(tPy)
得1/t=U(PxPy)/(4Px+Py)/2
再代回X,Y
X=U^2(Py^2)/(4Px+Py)^2/4
Y=U^2(Px^2)/(4Px+Py)^2
: (3)Find the expenditure function
C=PxX+PyY=U^2(PxPy^2)/(4Px+Py)^2/4+U^2(PyPx^2)/(4Px+Py)^2
=U^2 (PxPy)/(4Px+Py)/4
: 我知道(2)(3)是用對偶理論來解
: (1)我的解法是Ux/Uy=Px/Py
: 但一直沒辦法解出最後答案X=M/Px(4Px+Py)
