8 April 2010 - Monetary policy decisions

At today's meeting the Governing Council of the ECB decided that the interest
rate on the main refinancing operations and the interest rates on the marginal
lending facility and the deposit facility will remain unchanged at 1.00%,
1.75% and 0.25% respectively.

The President of the ECB will comment on the considerations underlying these
decisions at a press conference starting at 2.30 p.m. CET today.

歐洲央行（ECB）周四連續第11個月維持指標利率於1.0%的歷史低點不變，一如市場預期。
ECB亦將隔夜存款利率維持在0.25%，同時維持隔夜貸款利率在1.75%。

市場現在將把焦點放到將於北京時間20:30歐洲央行行長特里謝的記者會上。市場還將密
切關注特里謝闡述ECB對抵押品架構做出的調整細節，以及對於希臘金融危機的評論。

歐洲央行行長特里謝周四稱，鑒於歐元區經濟增長前景較為溫和，歐洲央行當前的基準政
策利率水平仍然適宜。

特里謝在法蘭克福舉行的新聞發布會上表示，低通貨膨脹率將對家庭購買力構成支撐，但
疲軟的勞動力市場正在抑制消費；此外，工業產值處於低位也會導致商業投資疲弱。歐洲
央行今日早些時候將關鍵政策利率維持在1%不變，符合市場普遍預期。
