日文系適合走專利這一行嗎? - 專利

各位板大好!
本人畢業於日文系(已過N1)，從事音樂授權近3年(需開立合約，但還是會過公司法務)。
因為朋友的關係進而得知有專利這個行業。
實際了解、爬文後，發現從事這行多數都是理工背景，亦或是從國外修畢專利相關課程。
當然也有少數是讀語文類的人，但看推文最後似乎會淪為"作翻譯"?
想請問有實際於專利事務所工作的板大，
1.日文系是否適合作專利這行?
(雖然跟現在的工作性質不太一樣，但有計畫轉換跑道)
2.打算報名台科大專利研究所學士後智慧財產權學程，是否有必要?
(是沒有急著換工作，想說慢慢培養相關知識)
3.日文系能做得跟理工科畢業的一樣好嗎?或是有甚麼方法能做到跟理工科畢業的一樣好?
4.其他建議?
