SARS TREATMENT
No specific treatment is currently recommended except for meticulous
supportive care [86]. As with other viral infections, antibacterial agents
are ineffective. In addition, no antiviral agents have been found to provide
benefit for treating SARS. During the epidemic, most patients were treated
with high-dose glucocorticoids and ribavirin, but most experts now agree that
neither treatment had a clear beneficial effect, and immediate and late
toxicities were common [87,88]. Lopinavir-ritonavir may have some activity
against the virus in vitro, but its clinical efficacy has not been
established [89]. Remdesivir (GS-5734), an experimental agent whose
development was accelerated because of its activity against Ebola virus, has
activity against the SARS and MERS coronaviruses [90].

簡單來說單時有試過
Ribavirin , Steroid
以及 SARS-coronavirus protease inhibitors(lopinavir/ritonavir )
Ribavirin 做過RCT 似乎沒有太大影響
而 Lopinavir 可減少SARS進展成ARDS的情況!

Adverse events (development of acute respiratory distress syndrome [ARDS] or
death within 21 days) were significantly lower in the lopinavir/ritonavir
group than in the historic controls (p<0·001)

不過這個統計量也不多,老實說武漢都封城等死了 不如
分幾個group 發藥回去吃,說不定更能證實是否有效
