Table of Contents

MC = dTVC/dQ = d(wL)/dQ = w dL/dQ = w/MPL

(A)910 (B)1130 (C)765 (D)800

2.

Suppose two goods are being prodeced efficiently and that the production

of X is always more labor intensive than production of Y. Production depends

only on two factors (L&K); these may besmoothly substituted for each other.

The total quantities of these inputs are fixed.An increase in the production

of X and a decrease in production of Y will

(A)increase the capital-labor ratio in each firm

(B)decrease the capital-labor ratio in each firm

(C)leave the capital-labor ratiofor each firm unchanged

(D)increase the capital-labor ratio in Y production and decrease the

capital-labor ratio in X production

答案是A

3.

The problem of adverse selection in health insurance leads to a situation in

which health insurance covers inapprepriate items for the population it serves

(A)overinsurance of the premium-paying population occurs

(B)the percentage of the premium-paying population that is unhealthy rises,

squeezing healthy individuals out of the market.

答案是A

(MSB=marginal signal benefit MSC=marginal signal cost)

(A)MSB(a)-MSC(a) >= MSB(b)-MSC(b)

(B)MSB(a)-MSC(a) = MSB(b)-MSC(b)

(C)MSB(a)-MSC(a) < MSB(b)-MSC(b)

(D)MSB(a)-MSC(a) > MSB(b)-MSC(b)

答案是B

WHY WHY WHY
