台灣時間今晚8時30分,市場將密切關注美國公布6月消費者物價指數(CPI),觀察這項
重要的通膨指標是否大幅回落,有助聯準會(Fed)結束長達逾一年來的升息行動。
根據彭博經濟研究預期,整體CPI和剔除能源與食品等波動較大項目的核心CPI數據都將下
滑。整體CPI年比增幅將大幅下滑至3%,低於5月的4%,為2021年3月以來最低水準,而且
進一步朝Fed的2%通膨目標回落。
彭博指出,美國6月CPI預料大幅下滑,主要是因為有利的基數效應。不過,就算是核心
CPI的月比數據,也會降至2021年來最低。
一項由22V Research進行的調查顯示,65%的受訪者認為剔除波動較大的食品和能源價格
的核心CPI將低於共識預期。接受調查的投資人中,54%預期美國的通膨報告將提供「增加
風險投資」的理由。
瑞銀全球財富管理美洲資產配置主管Jason Draho表示:「如果經濟數據繼續向軟著陸傾
斜,那麼市場預來愈有可能消化這樣的結果,投資人就會重新分配到風險資產」 ,「如
果數據仍然不確定,軟著陸看起來更像是樂觀而不是基線情境,那麼市場將保持區間波動
」。
彭博分析,聯準會幾乎肯定會在7月底升息1碼。不過,如果CPI報告表現疲軟,且周四公
布的生產者物價指數(PPI)同樣疲軟,可能會增強聯準會某些成員有關7月應該是最後一
次升息的呼聲。
心得/評論:根據彭博經濟研究預這次cpi會降至3%,各項數據都有可能降低
雖然cpi影響大盤愈來愈小,但對升息還是會有影響性。
