At IB, we offer 2 sources of insurance: SIPC and Lloyds of London.

SIPC does cover foreign currency, but it does not cover Non-US stocks. If you

had a claim with IB for Non-US securities, Lloyds of London insurance would

be applied.



Lloyds of London insurance covers the equivalent value of $29.5 Million US

Dollars, in any currency or any security that is offered at IB, globally.

SIPC insurance covers $500,000 USD insurance, for US stocks or any currency

of cash.

protected by 2 sources of insurance, both SIPC and Lloyds of London for

combined insurance of $30 Million USD or equivalent value in another

currency.
