舊制的kind codes規則，只有A跟Bx兩種kind codes。
A ：最早的公告本
Bx：核准公告後再經過第x次的Reexamination，經過Reexamination的案子通常
內容跟References Cited都會改變。

2001年開始早期公開制度，因此2001年後新制kind codes複雜多了，

常見的有A1、B1、B2跟Cx等幾種。
A1：Patent Application Publication
B1：Issued Patent, no previously published pre-grant publication
B2：Issued Patent, having a previously published pre-grant publication
Cx：Reexamination Certificate

另，pre-grant publication指的就是早期公開制度

會出現B1的狀況可能是請求不公開，或是審查時間短於18個月的申請案，
也有可能是2000年11月29日前申請的案件，不適用早期公開制度。

2001年1月2日以後提出的申請案大多數都會經歷早期公開，
所以核准公告時的kind code會標示B2。
