（中央社台北10日電）APEC經濟領袖會議將在11月20日以視訊方式舉行，總統蔡英文今天
宣布由台積電創辦人張忠謀擔任領袖代表，感謝張忠謀第三度代表她出席這場國際會議，
張忠謀過去的參與，對促進台灣和其他夥伴國家合作成果豐碩。
蔡總統在總統府記者會表示，張忠謀身為台積電創辦人，對科技和數位產業前景具有卓越
觀點，在全球供應鏈重整的關鍵時刻，張忠謀可以將台灣對區域發展的貢獻及未來建言，
傳達給APEC成員，不但是最適當選擇也具有意義。
張忠謀在2006年陳水扁執政時，首次出任APEC領袖代表；蔡總統執政後，從2018到今年都
擔任領袖代表。
主辦國馬來西亞表示，峰會將聚焦各經濟體因應疫情的作法及「APEC後2020願景」，預計
