美國股市上周五大跌 460 點，台股因波段漲多，今 (25) 日也難逃殺機，重挫逾百點，金管會主委顧立雄表示，不會因為美股一天跌個 400 多點，對台股就會造成信心崩潰。
顧立雄表示，美國長、短期債券殖利率曲線出現自 2007 年來首見倒掛，因為 3 個月與 10 年期公債利率價差為負數，殖利率曲線倒掛引發大家都擔心短期內經濟是不是有反轉疑慮，股票會先反應預期心理，但事實上到底會如何，大家也說不準；但單就台股來說，台股基本面表現，從數據上來看還不錯。
顧立雄進一步表示，台股會受美股影響，一是基本面，一是信心問題，因為台股受美股牽動信心問題的影響，這是無可避免的，但是針對外資動向和法人信心需要再觀察。
顧立雄強調，「不覺得以美股一天跌個 400 多點，對台股來講就是代表信心崩潰的問題，應該沒有到這種程度」。
他認為，從金管會立場來看，要注意現在有沒有投資人信心崩潰的問題，只要沒有投資人信心崩潰的問題，都不需要去介入股市，要讓股市依照市場機制發揮。
