S.Africa power grid vulnerable into winter-Eskom CEO

CAPE TOWN, June 5 (Reuters) - South Africa's electricity grid remains
vulnerable going into winter and power utility Eskom will have coal stocks
at 20 days by the end of this week or early next week, the company said on
Thursday.
"Fundamentally the grid remains vulnerable until we have sufficient reserve
margin that allows have electricity supply if problems arise," Chief
Executive Officer Jacob Maroga said at the World Economic Forum in Cape Town.
