散裝航運市場與全球經濟景氣息息相關，BDI 指數可用來作為反映全球散裝航運市場景氣的代表性指標，市場也會把波羅的海指數視為經濟領先指標，隨著各種原物料漲，推升運價走強，散裝船族群的獲利也出現想像空間，被視為「下一個航海王」。
波羅的海運價指數（BDI）連兩天大漲，15日大漲近7%、16日續漲2.67%，昨（19）日開盤後再度上漲47點，盤中指數來到2,432點。BDI不斷墊高，國內的散裝船業者獲利將獲推升，而成為台股新人氣指標，昨天包括裕民（2606）、新興、中航、正德、台航、四維航都漲停亮燈鎖住，慧洋-KY一度攻上漲停，收盤時差兩檔漲停。
以國內各家散裝船的船舶布局概況，現在各種船型都一起漲，所以國內最大的兩大散裝船公司裕民（2606）、慧洋還是受惠最顯著的個股。其中，慧洋3月自結每股稅前盈餘達0.7元，第1季每股稅前盈餘1.2元，各船公司「比獲利」效應啟動。
法人分析，就目前散裝船的股價跟營運表現來分析，正德、新興海運則是股價相對偏低，其中，正德海運去年每股稅後純益0.62元，並且在今年完成1,939萬美元聯貸案將擴充船隊。
