〔財經頻道／綜合報導〕市場普遍預期，美國聯準會（Fed）將在12月升息，而美國總統川普日前曾多次批評Fed的升息政策傷害美國股市。Fed則在15日宣佈，將重新評估其貨幣政策。
綜合外電報導，Fed在15日宣佈，計劃在明年廣泛審查其實現就業、價格穩定目標的戰略和工具，Fed主席鮑爾（Jerome Powell）在新聞稿中表示，隨著美國勞動市場條件接近最大就業率，以及接近通膨目標，「現在是評估我們如何溝通、制定和實施貨幣政策的好時機」。
Fed表示，與公眾溝通的方式也是該機構的審查項目之一，並從2019年中期開始，將討論其在外展活動中收到的建議，「央行政策制定者，將評估審查年度中收集的訊息和觀點，並報告他們的調查結果」。
Fed今年以來已經升息3次，最近1次是在9月。
