現在正在看 Barro 第五版的書 (簡體中文與英文...)
一個感覺很不好, 在第六頁倒數第五行...
Therefore, although the economy has changed greatly over a century - including
a larger role for govenrnment, a diminished share of agriculture in the GDP,
and dramatic alterations in the monetary system - the data suggest NO MAJOR
CHANGE IN THE INTENSITY OF BUSINESS FLUCTUATIONS.
根據圖 1-2, 扣除戰爭的結果, 看起來還真的是這個樣子...
這對我來說是一個 shock: 經濟體系的變化, 對經濟波動看起來居然沒影響???!!!
我不得不再一次的承認: 身為 K 幫的小囉嘍, 這個結果讓我很失望...

現在只能安慰自己: 嗯, 新 K (by Mankiw and Romer) 可沒認為政府是新 K 的重要論點.
